SHIRODHARA
A wonderfully blissful treatment involving a steady flow of warm herbalised oil being gently poured in a rhythmical movement over the central Chakra point on the forehead.
Shirodhara provides complete rest and relaxation and is equivalent to a great night’s sleep. The client is left feeling peaceful, and in a profoundly deep state of relaxed awareness.

In order for the receiver to benefit greatly from the treatment one has to be in the right frame of mind. The therapist will give you advice on how best to prepare for this. A level of mindfulness is also demanded of the therapist.
On arriving g home after the treatment clients are advised to try and remain relaxed and restful in their own sacred space for the remainder of the day to obtain full benefit from the treatment process.
A light diet is recommended the remainder of the day and no alcohol to be consumed.

ABAYHANGA
Massage and the external application of Ayurvedic herbalised oils nourishes the heart and calms the mind.The therapeutic touch communicated to our body and it relaxes our muscles and ligaments, strengthening our joints at the same time.
Massage is an important part of ayurveda but rather than concentrating on western techniques that manipulate body contour,it works on marma (vital )points opening up 'energy' channels which are believed to cause blockages within the body resulting in disease.
Specific oils are used on different body types - Vata, Pitta & Kapha.The oils are specially prepared by Ayurvedic Physicians according to ancient Ayuvedic texts which are over 5,ooo yrs old. PADABHYANGA
This highly relaxing foot massage uses special warmed ayurvedic oils and is not only revitalising for tired feet and legs, but as feet contain key energy and nerve points relating to the whole body, also harmonises and relaxes the entire body.This massage improves blood circulation, helps in preventing ( or treating ) varicose veins and also reduces swelling and soreness in the lower leg region.
There are specific points that can be worked on that asists in aiding and improving digestion, particulary good after illness when digestion can be poor or slow.
Judith uses an authentic Kasa bowl during the treatment.The bronze bowl approximately 4" is a mettalic bowl made up of two metals, copper and tin.The bowl is massaged on the sole of each foot and the conductivity of the metal interacts with the energy fields of the body, drawing out toxins.
The Kasa bowl helps to balance the Ayurvedic bioenergetic principles of Vata ,Pitta and Kapha.Balancing these specific energies, aids homeostasis, and helps the body to function more effectively.The action of the bowl is profoundly relaxing and adds an extra dimension to the reflexology procedure.

SHIROBHYANGA
This intensly relaxing and revitalising massage nourishes both hair and hair roots.Through the use of special oils and strokes,and massage it improves the blood circulatio
n and lymph flow in the head region and helps in removing ( physical and emotional ) energy blockage. It also stimulates the sensory organs ( touch, sight, smell, hearing, speech )and relaxes the mind and soul.
Alcohol should not be consumed before of after this treatment

Kati Basti
Is a Sanskrit word which translates as 'to pour oil on the head '.
A dough ring is prepared from whole wheat flour and water ( otherwise known as a bagel )The size is about 4-5" in diameter and is place over specific area to be treated.
Warm herbaliosed oil is poured gently into the the ring and is gently masaged to assist the oil to soak into the deeper layers of tissue and bone.The oil when cooled is removed and more warm oil replaced into the receptacle.
This procedure is repeated 3/4 times during the treatment.The effect is to nourish the tissues,muscle, bones and to ease any pain, strain or discomfort in the specific area that is being treated.
The treatment is deeply relaxing for the client and is likely to allieviate most types of pain. Price: £ 40
DETAILED CONSULTATION
A consultation is carried out on each client to ascertain the clients current state of health.
I will then offer the appropriate treatment which I feel will most benefit the clients health or skin. I will use specific Ayurvedic oils to assist the body to de-stress, re-balance and nourish the Dhatus (blood,tissues, skin, lymph and bones).
I follow a strict code of conduct and Ethics
