Prarkruti

Is what we are born with it is our DNA and will never change as it is determined at the moment of conception, doshas are constantly shifting within the body just as the five basic elements fluctuate within nature, these elements will also fluctuate within the body. Therfore the dosha dominance changes with age, time of day or night and the season, etc….
Because of external forces, weather, stress, incorrect food, diet, nutrition and often medication, alongside an unhealthy work/lifestyle the body becomes unbalanced. This in Ayurveda context, we refer to as Vitiation of our dosha. This is then known as the Vikruti
The pressures of modern life wreak havoc with our natural state of well-being. The further we get from natural rhythms the more stressed our daily living becomes. Doshas being vitiated will result in sickness, poor health and eventually disease.

  • Each person exists on many levels
  • Each person is unique and should be treated as such
  • The body heals from the head down
  • From the inside out
  • In reverse order of the disease
  • Each individual is actively and knowledgeably involved in their own treatments
